Wine Formula was founded in 2018 by a group of young enthusiasts working in the fields of winemaking and viticulture in Armenia.
Driven by our philosophy of wildlife preservation and corporate social responsibility, we launched our first wine brand — Hovaz (which means leopard in Armenian).

The story behind the name is deeply symbolic: it refers to the rare and endangered Caucasian leopard, a majestic species that had disappeared for decades but was rediscovered in 2018 in the Khosrov Forest State Reserve.
Hovaz embodies the strength, resilience, and natural beauty of Armenia — values that inspire both our wines and our mission.   

Since November 2022, our company has opened Hovaz Wine Rooms — a wine tasting space located in the heart of Dilijan.
Here, guests not only enjoy curated wine tastings, but also have the opportunity to take part in the final steps of sparkling wine production — a unique and hands-on wine experience in Armenia.
