AMARAT began its activity in 2004 and was officially established as a company in 2024 by Eduard Barkhudaryan, whose roots trace back to the Melik-Barkhudar lineage. The name “Amarat” symbolized a melik fortress, representing strength, heritage, and historical values. The company produces wines through natural fermentation methods, preserving the character of the grapes and the uniqueness of the Armenian terroir.
